A few years ago I noticed something: the more polished a piece of writing was, the less I trusted it. Perfect grammar started reading as a tell. Typos became proof of life. Coffee stains on a resume began to mean “human present”.
Bug Fix is a comic strip set inside that inversion.
The cast is ants. The setting is corporate. The premise is that errors have become the new authentication: proof of person.
Naturally, the moment something becomes valuable, humans do human stuff. A market forms around it. There are quotas now. Black markets. Audits. And Dave from Accounting is being investigated because his emails make sense on the first read and don't use emoji.
Each strip is a patch note from the anthill. Usually three panels, pen and ink, no color. Released as the calendar finds them.
Versioning follows the date: v{year}.{month}.{day}. Year 1 is 2026.
